My recent stay at Mabula Game Lodge was incredible. From the friendly and attentive staff to the delicious buffet meals, everything exceeded my expectations. The safari drives were a highlight, and our guide, JP, was informative and fun. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the in-house spa offered great value. With animals all around, it truly felt like an authentic safari experience. I can't wait to return!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The rooms at this lodge were spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, with a luxurious bed and a fantastic shower. We were also impressed by the friendly and welcoming staff, who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The game drives were a true highlight, with our knowledgeable and entertaining ranger, Stefan, who made the experience unforgettable. The lodge's location amidst beautiful scenery added to the overall charm of our Easter getaway.
There were a few aspects that could be improved upon. The food, especially the breakfast buffet, could have been better.

The game drives led by our passionate guide were mind-blowing! We learned so much and had a blast. The friendly staff, from the child minder to the waiters, made us feel incredibly welcomed. The accommodation was clean and well kept. The value for money was superb, with full board and two game drives included. The peacefulness of the reserve was rejuvenating. The highlight was the dinner at the Boma with traditional dancers. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

The decor at the lodge was absolutely charming. The traditional African motifs and warm colors created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The general areas of the lodge were also very well-maintained and clean, making it easy for senior people like myself to navigate around. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay.
I would have appreciated more activities specifically catered to senior people. Perhaps some gentle nature walks or a relaxation area where we can unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

I absolutely loved the warm and cozy ambiance of the lodge. The decor had a touch of African elegance and the common areas were beautifully adorned with authentic African art and furnishings. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent. The pathways were well-maintained and easily navigable, and there were handrails and ramps available to assist guests with mobility challenges. It made getting around the lodge a breeze for me.
I would have appreciated more activities specifically tailored for senior people. While the game drives were fantastic, I would have loved to see more options that catered to our needs.

The buffet was absolutely mind-blowing, with a variety of dishes that would satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. And let's not forget the cozy and comfortable room, perfect for a good night's sleep after a thrilling game drive!
Not enough milk in the room. Really? Who needs more than one small carton of milk?

Our family had an incredible time exploring the wild African bushveld of the Kruger National Park during our stay at Mabula Game Lodge. The variety of activities offered, such as horseback safaris, quad bike safaris, and guided bush walks, kept us entertained throughout our visit. The supervised Games Room provided a fun and safe space for our children, with building block sets, hula hoops, colouring-in books, and even a Wii and PlayStation. Additionally, the presence of warthogs crossing our path during our safari added to the magical atmosphere of the lodge.
My wife says that it would have been great to have more kid-friendly options for dining.

The location of the lodge is beautiful, with a stunning garden and pool area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable. The breakfast offered freshly cut fruit and baked bread, adding to the overall positive experience.
The selection of food for children was limited, and the housekeeping service was not up to standard.

We had a fantastic time at the game lodge. the safari game drives were exceptional, with our game ranger Moniya providing us with a memorable experience. the accommodation was comfortable and offered privacy with a view into the bush. the staff, especially the reception staff, were friendly and informative. the meals were excellent, with a variety of options including vegan and gluten-free choices. The property is located deep in the reserve, allowing us to spot animals throughout our stay. Cons: Nothing, all was good! 😊.
